Step 5: Review PV and ESS Electrical Code Interconnection Requirements

1. The inverter installation meets the requirements of Article 705 (choose one below):

2. The *standard electrical diagrams* can be used to accurately represent the PV or ESS or both. Diagrams can be found in the electrical commentary document.
*Fill out the standard electrical diagram completely. If the electrical system is more complex than the standard electrical diagram can effectively communicate, the project does not meet the requirements for a simplified permit application and additional information may be necessary for the jurisdiction to process the permit application. An electrical diagram acceptable to the jurisdiction is also an option to the standard diagram.
