Webinar: Intro to SolSmart Webinar for Indiana Communities (What’s So Smart About SolSmart?)
In this recorded webinar, the Indiana University Environmental Resilience Institute (IU ERI), a SolSmart community engagement partner, discusses the program with Hoosier community leaders who helped their town, city, or county achieve a SolSmart designation. Hear about best practices and challenges related to lowering barriers to solar adoption and learn from successful implementations.
SolSmart is a national program that helps cities, towns, counties, and regional organizations encourage solar market growth at the local level. SolSmart offers no-cost technical assistance to help local governments follow national best practices to expand solar energy use. Achieving a SolSmart designation can help streamline solar permitting, support sustainability and climate resilience goals, spur economic growth and create new jobs, and help reduce your community’s energy bills.
