We’re excited to introduce you to our updated program website at SolSmart.org! If you’re a SolSmart Gold, Silver, or Bronze designee, you can find your community on our interactive map, located on the “Our Communities” page (button below). If you have any updates such as photos, links, or recent accomplishments, simply contact us and we will make sure your page is up-to-date.
New to SolSmart? SolSmart is a program funded by the U.S. Department of Energy that helps local governments and regional organizations become “open for solar business.” The program offers no-cost technical assistance to help participants achieve designation as SolSmart Gold, Silver, or Bronze.
Check out what other communities have done. With designees in major cities, small towns, counties, and regional organizations across the country, the SolSmart program is designed to help any local government earn designation and expand solar energy.
