Gary, Indiana undertook a number of initiatives to earn their SolSmart Bronze designation, including upgrading zoning requirements and making information more accessible to the public. The city also supported a Solarize Gary campaign to make solar energy more accessible to residents, conducted an analysis of potential sites for solar PV installations across the city, and more.
