- Created an online permitting checklist, increasing transparency for community members and solar installers
- Reviewed local zoning codes and identified restrictions that intentionally or unintentionally prohibit solar PV development
We worked with our County’s Energy District to achieve the Bronze designation and it was a good process. One thing we focused on was making the process easier for people who want to add solar to their property. Our Zoning Code was silent on the issue before. There are several properties in town that have solar now and we hope the idea is catching on.
