Ashland, Massachusetts undertook a number of initiatives to earn their SolSmart Bronze designation, including upgrading zoning requirements and making information more accessible to the public. The town also made a commitment to reaching net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040 and installed solar panels on multiple municipal buildings.
